<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved technique and a technique suitable for automation for facilitating joint of a reinforcing element to a blow molded component. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to a method of producing a blow molded component, particularly a component for automobile equipment, comprising forming a component wall and an internal hollow space in a die by blow-molding a plastic parison. The production method includes joining a fastening section of the reinforcing element to the component wall interiorly at one junction during the blow molding, joining another fastening section of the reinforcing element to the component wall in the region of a through-hole of that wall at the other junction, thereby fixing the reinforcing element extending in the internal hollow space while reinforcing. The invention also relates to the blow molded components, particularly components for automobile equipment and a blow molding die for producing the blow molded component from the plastic parison. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
