INPUT DEVICE AND INPUT METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An input device and an input method using the same are provided to transmit motion on a ground to a terminal without limit of input space, thereby inputting a user command. CONSTITUTION: A pressure sensing unit(210) senses size and direction of a force applied to an input device to generate motion information. The pressure sensing unit is one of a strain gage and a piezoelectric sensor. An acceleration sensor(220) detects a slope direction of the input device. A transmission unit(230) transmits the motion information to an external device. A controller(250) compensates the motion information according to whether the input device rotates. When the input device rotates, the controller compensates movement direction around the slope direction.
