The device has terminals that are not aligned with infrared or laser type electromagnetic beams generated by an emitter and received by a receiver directly or by reflecting mirrors (8). The mirrors are mounted on a plastic plate (7) by a fixed screw (5) and adjustment screws (2, 12). The plate is fixed to a vertical post (1) of the considered terminal. A spring follower and a limit stop are integrated in the adjustment screws.
