The aircraft (1) has rear propulsion reactors (3) fixed to a fuselage (2) of the aircraft according to an arrangement symmetric with respect to a vertical symmetry plane of the aircraft. The reactors fixed to the fuselage are remote from the plane, such that the reactors are located inside an envelope surface of a theoretical fuselage according to a semi-buried configuration. Lines of the theoretical fuselage correspond to same dimension lines of the fuselage (2) without rear reactors or with rear reactors that are fixed outside the fuselage by carrier masts in a conventional manner.
