PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly superimpose videos projected from two or more portable projector devices while easily aligning projection directions of projection parts and maintaining installation positions in the portable projector devices. SOLUTION: A portable projector device includes: a connection part for connecting portable projector devices to each other; a connection detecting means for detecting that the portable projector devices are connected by the connection part; a support means for supporting two or more portable projector devices; a support detecting means for detecting that the portable projector device is supported by the support means; and a position detecting means for detecting relative positions of a projection screen for enlarged projection and a projection lens. The portable projector device further includes a means for superimposing a video from the projection lens onto a video projected from another projection lens and controlling the light quantity of a light source, on the basis of detection results of the connection detecting means, the support detecting means and the position detecting means.
