<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system, a content reproduction unit and an image processing method capable of displaying attractive images without impeding a view of a content. <P>SOLUTION: The content reproduction unit acquires operation information indicative of the operating state of a unit operated by a user, and transmits the operation information to a server. The server generates a related image which reflects the operation information and is related to the content distributed by a broadcast station, and transmits the related image to the content reproduction unit. The content reproduction unit receives the related image, and displays both the image based on the content distributed by the broadcast station and the received related image.
