<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid resonance of a stator due to a carrier sideband component to thereby suppress the increase of motor noise. <P>SOLUTION: A first carrier frequency fc1 is set up as a carrier frequency fc of an inverter. A controller determines whether an actual number Nm of revolutions of the motor changes and approaches a predetermined range (N1≤Nm) with respect to a resonation number Nr1 of revolutions of the motor. When it approaches the predetermined range, the carrier frequency of the inverter is changed, and a second carrier frequency fc2 different from the first carrier frequency fc1 is set up. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
