A creatinine concentration measurement method comprising: (A) a process of, under conditions in which no enzymes or picric acids that act on creatinine are present, mixing a creatinine assay reagent containing a metal complex of at least one of hexacyanoferrate or hexacyano lutinate with a sample containing creatinine to resolve said metal complex with said creatinine; (B) a process of electrochemically or optically measuring the amount of metal complex resolved in said process (A); and (C) a process of obtaining the concentration of said creatinine contained in said sample based on the amount of said resolved metal complex measured in said process (B).
