<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system that is put into a stoppage state in which the occurrence of damage is suppressed at a service interruption time of a commercial power source without equipping a storage battery. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system 10 includes a fuel cell 30, a switching means 34 that switches interconnection and stopping of the fuel cell 30 with the commercial power source 99, an oxidizer gas line 54 in which an oxidizer gas cut-off valve 64 is arranged and installed, a cathode off-gas line 54Q in which a cathode off-gas cut-off valve 67 is arranged and installed, a service interruption detecting means 45, and a control device 36. The oxidizer gas cut-off valve 64 and the cathode off-gas cut-off valve 67 are operated with the electric power generated by the fuel cell 30 and the electric power supplied from the commercial power source 99. As for the control device 36, when the commercial power source 99 is detected to have service interruption for a prescribed period of time, the fuel cell 30 is stopped from the commercial power source 99, and the oxidizer gas cut-off valve 64 and the cathode off-gas cut-off valve 67 are controlled to be closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
