<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor for evaluating water coating properties capable of detecting the presence of water coating in an arbitrary timing and a method of evaluating water coating properties using it, and a gas sensor closing the opening of a cover body under a state easy to form water coating, capable of certainly preventing water coating or the cracking of an element caused by water coating, having excellent durability and capable of detecting the specific gas component in a measuring fluid in an arbitrary timing. <P>SOLUTION: The gas sensor has at least a sensor element 10 for detecting the concentration of the specific gas component contained in a gas to be measured and a housing 20 for holding the sensor element 10 in the channel of the gas to be measured and is provided with an on-off cover body 30 for opening and closing the opening 312 of the element cover body 31 fixed to the leading end of the housing 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
