APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ANALYZING HUMAN TRAFFIC, PROGRAM, AND MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of analyzing traffic of entrance and exit in any place through which visitors can pass.

SOLUTION: The apparatus having two distance sensors attached to a wall of a passage so that inspection beams are outputted at an interval narrower than the thickness of a human chest in a direction crossing the passage to analyze person traffic includes: a storage part having an initial information storage area for storing initial distance information including a distance value between each distance sensor and an opposite wall; the distance sensors for transmitting measurement data including distance information and sensor identification information; a state determination means for comparing the distance information of the two distance sensors with the initial distance information recorded in the initial information storage area, determining a no-existence state of a human when the two distance information values are equal to the initial distance information, and when at least one distance information value is shorter than the initial distance information, determining an existence state of a human; and a traffic detection means for detecting human traffic by checking transition of the no-existence state and the existence state.
