<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet supporting device capable of preventing a pallet from tilting even if an elevation position of the pallet becomes lower than the predetermined position. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This pallet supporting device 21 is provided with a cap 81 attached to a tip of an arm part 31 as a means for releasing the hooking pallet. In this pallet supporting device 21, when the pallet starts to lower if an elevation position of the pallet becomes lower than the predetermined position and the tip of the arm part 31 is caught in the pallet and stops, a deformable part 85 of the cap 81 hit on the pallet is deformed to swing downward by using a terminal part as a shaft. Reaction force of the deformation of the deformable part 85 is transmitted to the arm part 31 through a body part 83 of the cap 81, and the arm part 31 swings upward contrary to the deformable part 85 to release the hooking pallet, thereby preventing the pallet from tilting.
