<p>A cellular conversion system that provides for consistent cellular telephone service in a home by utilizing an existing home wired telephone network. The system comprises a cellular high gain antenna, a signal amplifier, and a docking station that converts cellular signals into signals suitable for a wired network. The docking station includes a telephone cradle, telephone jack, and a cellular high gain antenna connector. A user connects the station to the antenna via the antenna connector. The user also connects the station to the wired telephone network via the telephone jack. When the user places a cellular telephone in the telephone cradle, the docking station connects the cellular telephone to the wired network and converts and transmits cellular signals to and from the home telephone network. As a result, data carried by cellular signals can be transmitted to and received from every home telephone connected to the home network.</p> |
