<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method for manuscript input data, allowing inspection of the manuscript input data input to a Web server on a client side, and allowing easy creation of a program for inspecting the manuscript input data. <P>SOLUTION: The client 3 of a WebtoPrint system 1 is made to be installed with a portal application 31 having a library of an inspection function necessary for the inspection of the manuscript input data 7. Before transmitting the manuscript input data 7 to the Web server 2 from the client 3, the portal application 31 refers to an item definition file 8 wherein a data item included in the manuscript input data 7 and a name of the inspection function for inspecting data of the data item are described in at least a markup language, calls the inspection function shown by the item definition file 8 from the library, and inspects the data of the data item included in the manuscript input data 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
