<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting cable connecting device for connecting two neighboring superconducting cables. <P>SOLUTION: Each of the superconducting cables is composed of at least a resistive conductive central conductor of an almost cylindrical shape, at least one superconductive material layer arranged around the conductive central conductor and an insulative sheath surrounding the superconductive material layer, wherein an end portion of each of the superconducting cables has a coating peeled off so that the conductive central conductor and the superconductive material layer can be exposed, includes an external cover of an insulative material and includes at least one conductive sleeve 5, 5' to be connected with a peripheral part where the coating of each superconducting cables is peeled off and a conductive pipe 6 housing the conductive sleeve and connected with the conductive sleeve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
