<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pest-exterminating material with microencapsulated organophosphorus agent's new formulation, simple in application method and usable at any site, exhibiting long-term aftereffect and also exhibiting high effectiveness even on pests having resistance and/or repellency to organophosphorus agents, and to provide a method for controlling pests using this material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pest-exterminating material is such as to be obtained by incorporating a carrier with a microencapsulated organophosphorus agent obtained by including an organophosphorus agent as core substance as a pest-controlling agent in polyurea-membrane microcapsules formed by an interfacial polymerization process between a polyisocyanate and a polyfunctional amine.
