<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel for surely applying a predetermined pressure on a sealing part when bonding a pair of glass substrates for the liquid crystal display panel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display panel constituted by bonding the pair of glass substrates through a frame-like seal and sealing liquid crystal in a space surrounded by the pair of bonded glass substrates and the seal, the pressure applied on the sealing part is set higher than the pressure applied on the pair of glass substrates when bonding the pair of glass substrates by applying the pressure thereon.
