REFRIGERATOR AND CONTROLLING METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A refrigerator and a control method thereof are provided to reduce quality change of foods and reduce time required to defrost frozen foods. CONSTITUTION: Foods are overcooled(S10). The foods are frozen at a temperature lower than a first setup temperature range(S30). The foods are kept at a temperature higher than the freeze temperature(S50). After the overcooling step, the foods are rapidly cooled so as for the foods to be strayed from the first setup temperature range.
