VIDEO IMAGE VIEWING HISTORY ACQUISITION APPARATUS, METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the degree of preference reflecting the viewing intention of a user more by calculating the degree of preference reflecting the viewing state of a user, and to select and recommend an image.

SOLUTION: Video image display screen information containing the video image display position and display size in a screen displaying a video image is acquired along with a video image ID for identifying a reproduction video image uniquely. A video image operation history of an operation for controlling video image reproduction is acquired along with the video image ID of a video image to be operated, the operation time and the video image reproduction position. Video image information including the length of the video image corresponding to the video image ID is acquired. Video image display screen information, a video image operation history, video image information are acquired based on the video image ID. A viewing style indicating how the video image corresponding to the video image ID has been viewed is determined and stored in a viewing history database. The degree of preference is calculated by reading the display state determination results, the viewing intention determination results and the video image information of the degree of concentration from the viewing history database.
