<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating concrete sludge which can separate and recover high purity calcium carbonate from concrete sludge. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for treating concrete sludge is provided with a sludge separating device 2 which separates a sludge cake and a sludge liquid from the concrete sludge generated in the process of centrifugally-forming concrete, a deposition reaction device 3 for depositing calcium carbonate from the sludge liquid and a calcium carbonate separating device 5 for separating calcium carbonate from a deposition liquid from which calcium carbonate is deposited. The deposition reaction device 3 possesses a deposition reaction device body 13 made of an ordinary pressure container. The deposition reaction device body 13 is provided with a seed crystal feed means 14 for feeding the seed crystal of calcium carbonate into the deposition reaction device body 13, a carbon dioxide feed means 15 for feeding carbon dioxide into the deposition reaction device body 13, and a dispersion means 19 for dispersing the content of the deposition reaction device body 13.
