<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head which suppresses a decrease in displacement characteristic of a diaphragm by preventing corrosion of a pressure generation chamber and a nozzle plate because of a jet liquid and also preventing adhesion of an adhesive to the diaphragm, and to provide a liquid jet apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When joining a channel forming substrate 10 and the nozzle plate 20 to each other by the adhesive 16, an angle of contact θ1 of a first protecting film 15 to the adhesive 16 before setting is larger than an angle of contact θ2 of a second protecting film 22 to the adhesive 16 before setting. Therefore, the adhesive 16 before setting runs along the second protecting film 22 of a good affinity and can be refrained from flowing to the pressure generation chamber 12, an ink supply passage 13 and a communication part 14. Accordingly, the inkjet recording head 1 and the inkjet recording apparatus can be obtained in which adhesion of the adhesive 16 to the diaphragm 53 of the pressure generation chamber 12 is suppressed, and the decrease and variation of the displacement characteristic of the diaphragm 53 are reduced.
