PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly obtain a correlation between a pair of data sequences. SOLUTION: The first data sequence includes a plurality of one-dimensionally arrayed data. The second data sequence includes a plurality of one-dimensionally arrayed data different from the first data sequence. The correlation between the first and second data sequences is calculated by a plurality of correlation calculating expressions while the amount of the displacement on one-dimension is relatively changed (S220).
