PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscopic geometry cutting method and a microscopic geometry cutting device capable of accurately and efficiently cutting a microscopic geometry on the surface of a workpiece. SOLUTION: This microscopic geometry cutting method includes an input step ST1 for inputting a target shape cut in the surface of the workpiece and a feed rate, a frequency analysis step ST2 for performing frequency analysis for the target path of a cutting tool which is determined by the target shape and the feed rate, a cutting condition determination step ST2 for determining the cutting conditions from the result of the frequency analysis, a program preparation step ST3 for preparing a cutting program according to the determined cutting conditions, and a cutting step ST4 for cutting according to the cutting program.
