The method involves spraying coating liquid onto an object via a liquid atomizer in the form of a non-rotating nozzle or a rotation atomizing body. At least part (4) of the body subject to formation and hardening of deposits of coating liquid is cooled by a fluid coolant fed to it during the spraying process to reduce or prevent the adhesiveness and/or rate of drying of the liquid and formation of a film. Independent claims are also included for the following: a spraying device for a coating liquid.
