<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a color region conversion in which a gradation of a pure color of a specific color is properly reproduced by a specific device. <P>SOLUTION: A color value group in which each of a plurality of colors reproduced as the pure color of the specific color is displayed on a device independent color space by an output device is obtained as pure color gradation data of the specific color (50, 52), and it is determined whether an input color value is in a color value range equivalent to the pure color of the specific color (58). Regarding the color value concerned, a fixed point is set to set an output color value so that the corresponding output color value is located on an outline of a color reproduction region of the output device, and also becomes a color value closer to the color value group of the pure color gradation data of the specific color (60 to 78), to generate a conversion condition of the color region conversion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
