<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidity controller that cleans a humidity controlling target space by humidity control. <P>SOLUTION: A control part in the humidity controller 1 carries out a clean operation mode of repeating a plurality of times the operation of diffusing moisture all over the room by humidifying operation under predetermined conditions and then switching to dehumidifying operation to dehumidify and dry all over the room. Water molecules thereby capture smell components in the humidity controlling target space during humidification, and the water molecules that captures the smell components are recovered and discarded by dehumidification during dehumidification.
