PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal for accurately performing indoor/outdoor determination without using map information, its indoor/outdoor determination method, and a program therefor. SOLUTION: This mobile terminal 1 includes an electric power measuring part 12 for measuring received electric power RRP of a signal SG1 for positioning received from a GPS satellite 4 by using a GPS receiver 11, a movement estimation part 13 for estimating a movement distance LM of the mobile terminal 1 from position information I1 included in the signal SG1, and a determination part 14 for determining whether the mobile terminal 1 is located indoors or outdoors based on the electric power RRP and the movement distance LM. Further the determination part 14 controls transmission electric power of a radio signal sent out to another communication device by giving a control signal SG2 to a transmission part 20 corresponding to the result of the above determination.
