<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal that is configured to display in a display area an icon to be moved according to the movement of the portable terminal which is used in inspection so as to perform specified processing when the icon is moved to a specified display area concerning an inspection system, and that allows a user to easily perform processing such as the input work of an inspection result etc., by one hand even if the user cannot use a free hand not holding the portable terminal in the inspection, and also to provide an area specifying processing performing method. <P>SOLUTION: An icon is displayed in the display area. The displayed icon is moved within the display area based on the displacement of a physical amount detected by a displacement detecting part. The display coordinate of the moved icon in the display area is compared with the specified area stored in a storage part so as to determine whether the icon exists in the specified area or not. When it is determined that the icon exists in the specified area, area specifying processing corresponding to the specified area stored in the storage part is retrieved, thereby performing the area specifying processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
