<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant constraining device for vehicles capable of saving the labor for wearing and releasing a seat belt and shortening the time. <P>SOLUTION: This occupant constraining device is provided with motors 20, winding members 30 and connecting members 40, and belts 50 are attached to the connecting members 40. The occupant can wear the belts by winding the connecting members 40 by the motors 20 and moving the belts 50 downward. The belt is released by winding back the connecting members 40, rewinding the connecting members 40 by the winding members 30 and moving the belts 50 upward. This constitution dispenses with operations that an occupant engages or disengages tongue plates with respect to buckles so as to save the labor in wearing and releasing the belts 50. The belts are worn or released using the motors 20, the winding members 30 and the connecting members 40, so as to be worn and released by just one process and shorten the time required for wearing and releasing the belts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
