<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent falling when attached to the electric wire or removed from the electric wire. <P>SOLUTION: A wire covering stripping tool 100 has a support 101, a pressing axis 102, a blade holder 103, an arm 104, and a cover 105. The cover 105 is mounted to be freely opened/closed in a sliding manner at an open region side in opposition to a third support region 101c of the channel-shaped support 101. The cover 105 is forced to be normally closed by means of a coil spring 124. When the wire covering stripping tool 100 is attached to an electric wire W, the electric wire W is brought into contact with an inclined part 132 to press the cover 105 downward. The cover 105 slides toward the lower side to be placed into an open state, and the electric wire W is guided by the inclined part 132 to be inserted into a concave groove 111 at a first support region 101a. After the electric wire W is inserted into the concave groove 111, the cover 105 is automatically placed into a closed state by a biasing force exerted by the coil spring 124. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
