PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a damping device, solving the problem of the conventional fitting structure of the damping device wherein an existing beam is drilled to lower the strength of the beam. SOLUTION: In this mounting structure of a fitting for fixing the damping device constructed between a bridge pier and an upper beam in the bridge axial direction in a reinforced concrete viaduct having cantilever beams at both ends, the fitting of the upper beam 4 side is formed of clamping members 6a, 6b to have a U-shaped section and hold both side surfaces of the upper beam, and a bonding material 9 is used in the holding surfaces in the clamping members 6a, 6b disposed opposite to each other.
