OIL-IN-WATER TYPE TOPICAL AGENT FOR SKIN

Disclosed is an oil-in-water type topical agent for the skin that is stringy and has substantial body that has excellent stringiness stability, that remains on the skin, and that is not sticky when it dries. The stringy oil-in-water type topical agent for the skin is composed of: (a) 0.01-3.0 wt% of a polyacrylic acid or a metal salt thereof; (b) 0.01-1.0 wt% of an alkyl denatured carboxyvinyl polymer; (c) 1.0-10.0 wt% of polyethylene glycol with an average molecular weight between 1000 and 50,000; and (d) 0.5-20.0 wt% of an oil.
