PURPOSE: A web cache acceleration system using p2p is provided to increase cache hit of a web cache, thereby increasing a use rate of the web cache. CONSTITUTION: A rendezvous server(302) manages information of a plurality of peer nodes included in an overlay network. A control server(300) offers a control message about a cache management policy and a communication policy of the peer nodes. In the peer nodes, an agent(310) is installed. The agent shares web cache object information stored in the peer nodes. The agent transceives web cache objects between the nodes.
