<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water discoloring toy set which can easily and repeatedly form letters and patterns and, at the same time, give surprise and variation by uttering various voices. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The water discoloring toy set 1 comprises: a coating implement 2 equipped with a power supply 5, a loudspeaker 6, a voice memory circuit 7, a voice switching section 8 and a coating body 4 for coating water; and a water discoloring sheet material 10 equipped with a supporting body 11 having, on its surface, a porous layer 12 which differs in transparency depending on whether it is in liquid absorbed state where low refractive index pigment is firmly fixed in dispersion on a binder resin or in non-liquid absorbed state and, at the same time, equipped with a plurality of voice selection sections 13 which make the voice switching section of the coating implement choose a predetermined voice.
