The vehicle has controllers, an energy supply system, an electrical energy storage i.e. battery, supplying electrical energy to the controllers, an auxiliary starting point i.e. auxiliary starting pole (1), and a pole protection switching unit provided at the point. The storage is coupled with the energy supply system in a pole-protected manner. The pole protection switching unit is assigned to a device for detecting polarity of voltage lying close to the auxiliary starting point. The switching unit is closable by the device for detecting polarity during correct polarity.
