A method of guiding a turning direction at an intersection and a navigation system using the method are provided to guide a turning direction in consideration of neighboring roads located in the same turning direction on the basis of the current position of a user. A method of guiding a turning direction at an intersection includes a step(S20) of searching a route to a destination designated by a user and performing route guide according to the searched route and a step(S70) of guiding a turning direction in consideration of neighboring roads in the same turning direction based on the route when an intersection is detected from the route.
