<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for generating simulated solar light that generates large electric power while employing a switching system, which performs accurate I-V characteristic measurement of a solar battery with high efficiency, and make long a time for which an arc discharge of a lamp is maintained. <P>SOLUTION: Under charging control by a control circuit 70, electric power is supplied from a charging power source 12 connected to a commercial power source 11 to a double electric layer capacitor and an electric power control circuit 20 to perform charging. After the charging of the double electric layer capacitor and the electric power control circuit 20 is completed, the control circuit 70 controls a switching type step-up power supply circuit 30 to charge a smoothing capacitor 38 to a predetermined voltage, thereby turning on a flash lamp 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
