<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al alloy die casting which has excellent seizure resistance or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the Al alloy die casting, at least a part of a casting surface layer formed by being brought into contact with the inner wall of a die is composed of a chill layer with a fine solidified structure in which the secondary dendrite arm spacing (DAS2) of the primary crystals crystallized from a molten metal is ≤2 μm. In the Al alloy die casting, differently from the conventional die casting, since the solidified structure of the surface layer is composed of an ultrafine chill layer, seizure, surface cracks or the like are hardly caused between itself and the die, and the Al alloy die casting having excellent surface properties can be obtained at a high yield.
