<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative barrette, easy to set it onto the hair, hard to drop from the hair, capable of being easily moved in a state where it is inserted in the hair at it being held so as to be a complicate hairstyle such as an evening hairstyle and hard to damage the hair. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The decorative barrette 1 includes a hair retaining body 2 for retaining the hair held and a decorative part 9 fixed to the base end of the body 2. The body 2 is integrally formed by a steel plate being stamped and curved and has eight hair holding wires 4, 4, etc., in parallel with each protrusive form having a predetermined width and provided from and orthogonal to one side of a long support part 3. A curved part 7 right/left curving in a zigzag in a specified interval is provided on the middle of each wire 4.
