<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fasten a blind type fastener superior in work efficiency, having high co-rotation preventive effect, and being not a complicated shape, to a fastening object member, without forming a fastening hole of the fastening object member in advance in a complicated shape. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A sleeve of a blind nut 1 having a sleeve 18 and a flange 17 is inserted into the fastening hole 5, and the blind nut 1 is fastened to a panel 3 by the flange 17 and a swelling part 19 of the sleeve by swelling a part of the sleeve. When forming the fastening hole 5, a plurality of projections 15 projecting in the axial direction of the fastening hole from a panel surface, are formed at an interval around the outer periphery of the fastening hole in a position engageable with the swelling part of the sleeve outward in the radial direction from the outer periphery of the fastening hole in the panel 3. When swelling a sleeve part, the swelling part 19 of the sleeve is engaged so as to press it in the axial direction to the projections 15 of the panel 3, and the blind nut is prevented from rotating around the axis of the fastening hole.
