The inventions relate to the food industry. The treatment and purification of a liquid product, including vodka, are carried out by passing said product through a mixture of sorbent components enclosed between filtering materials. Each portion of the product poured from a bottle into a drinking vessel, prior to be consumed, is treated and purified by the consumer himself. The treatment is carries out by pressing product out from a container at a maximum rate through, arranged in a cartridge, a coarse filtering material, sorbents and a fine filtering material by means of the predetermined excessive air pressure which is produced in the inner cavity of the container when necessary by an air pump which is provided with an electric motor and is located outside the bottle. Mineral, flavouring and/or other additives accommodated in the cartridge at exite from the device make it possible to obtain a product different from that which is contained in the container. Moreover, the device can be provided with units producing luminous and sound effects for advertising purposes.
