<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unnecessary components in no use regardless of whether or not an optional electrical component is connected to a wire harness terminal. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The joint structure for an optional electrical component, formed of a wire harness wired in a vehicle, a relay, a fuse or a diode connected to the wire harness includes a shared connector 3 where the terminal connected to each wire terminal of the wire harness is inserted and locked, and an adapter 4 provided for each optional electrical component 1, and housing the terminal electrically connected to the terminal of the shared connector in a connector housing part having a shape to be engaged with a housing for the shared connector. The adapter 4 provides the joint structure between the wire harness and the optional electrical component provided separately or integrally from/with the optional electrical component.
