PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of forming a high quality image stably over a long period with superior durability to scraping or flaw of the photoreceptor film, while restraining adhesion of unwanted substances on the surface. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a photosensitive layer and a protective layer on a conductive support, in this order. The protective layer contains a cross-linking resin, having a cross-linking structure and a titanium oxide fine particles, and the film density of the protective layer is in a range of 1.20 g/cm<SP>3</SP>-2.00 g/cm<SP>3</SP>.
