A shock-detecting apparatus (1) for an industrial vehicle has a shock-detecting means (21,22) that is fixed to the industrial vehicle for detecting a shock and generating an output signal, a shock value computing means (S105) for computing a shock value based on the output signal which is received sequentially, a judging means (S106) for judging whether or not the shock value is greater than a threshold value, a warning means (S120) for generating a warning signal when the judging means judges that the shock value is greater than the threshold value and a threshold value setting means (7,30) for setting the threshold value. The threshold value setting means includes a displaying means (31) for displaying a peak value in a predetermined period which allows a user to read the peak value, wherein the peak value is determined by the computed shock value during the predetermined period and a threshold value input means (41) for inputting the threshold value manually.
