The control element has two components which are formed as injection moldings and are connected together. The components lie adjacent to each other and have surfaces adjacent to each another. The former component is provided with a surface coating (3) in an injection mold process after its manufacturing. The latter component partially covers the surface coating of the former component in another injection mold process and is placed on the surface of the former component.
