<p>The device has a cut-out switch (13) with a thinning, actuated by an excess pressure inside a container (2) of a sealed electrochemical battery (1) e.g. cylindrical sealed lithium-ion type battery. A gas generator (20) in the form of cylindrical tube, is activated in a manner to release a predefined quantity of gas, when a temperature in the generator exceeds a predetermined threshold value for a period higher than the value. The threshold value ranges between 130 and 150 degree Celsius and period ranges between 10 and 20 seconds.</p> |
