PURPOSE: An electrode and a method of producing the same is provided to manufacture a electrode through plastic processing easily by forming a pure nickel or nickel alloy. CONSTITUTION: In a device, an impact molding of a device is performed and an electrode of the cylindrical form is formed. The electrode is formed with Ni and an impurity. The electrode includes the bottom of cylindrical form which is nickel alloy. A work function of the electrode is less than 4.7eV. An etching rate of electrode is 22nm / min under. The device is formed through a thermal treatment over 500°C after wire drawing.
