A fence post protector 18 comprising at least one channel shaped member for mounting to a fence post 12 to cover exposed faces of the post. Side walls 32 of the channel flex for contact with side faces of the post to allow for different post widths. The side walls may be clamped to opposing side faces of the fence post or they may be attached to faces of the post using an adhesive tape or hook and loop type fastener. The protector 18 may comprise several overlapping members (24, 26, 28, Fig. 2) to telescopically extend it. The members may comprise a recyclable material such as cardboard. Also claimed are an overspray protector 22 and a gravel board protector 20, each comprising a sheet or film of flexible material attachable to a fence post protector or to a mounting member. Also claimed is a kit incorporating the above apparatus. |
