<p>The method involves locating a strong light source (4) i.e. static urban light, on a captured nocturnal image (5). Pixels corresponding to the source are darkened to reduce luminous impact of a source located on a transcripted image with respect to luminous impact of the source on the image (5) such that transcription images (3) on a display unit (2) i.e. screen, are similar to relevant transcription images of a natural vision perceived by a human eye, from the source. An independent claim is also included for a device for improving transcription of nocturnal images, comprising an optoelectronic information capturing unit.</p> |
