PURPOSE: An automatic audio equalizer is provided for a user to set an equalization value with respect to each broadcasting channel so that the equalization value previously set being matched with the selected broadcasting channel is selected when the user selects a broadcasting channel. CONSTITUTION: An automatic audio equalizer includes a channel memory(1) for storing broadcasting channels selected by a user, an equalization controller(2) for equalizing signals output from the channels, and an equalization value setting information storage(10) for storing information about equalization values corresponding to the channels stored in the channel memory. The equalization controller is controlled using the information stored in the equalization value setting information storage.
